Little Wolf (1820-1904)

Little Wolf was a memorable Northern Cheyenne Chief. Like so many brave Leaders of the People, he had dignity, gentleness, a musical voice and pleasant address.

He led his People back to the North after his Tribe was almost starved to death by the army.

There is a clear sky beyond the clouds of racial prejudice, and in that final Court of Honor a noble soul like that of Little Wolf has a place.
